Description
Zooz Momentary In-Wall Switch for Z-Wave Dimmer Modules
The Zooz Momentary In-Wall Switch is a one-button momentary switch that works in a sequence: tap once to turn your light on or off, press-and-hold to dim or brighten. Unlike most Z-Wave switches, only the top paddle is interactive, so you'll only ever be pressing one paddle.
Key Features
Versatile Application
Works with Z-Wave dimmers, allowing you to tap to turn the light on, press and hold to adjust brightness, and tap again to turn it off. It also works with garbage disposals - press and hold to trigger the motor, and release to stop.
3-Way Set-Ups
For 3-way installations, please wire this switch according to the appropriate diagram in the manual. You'll only ever need to connect two wires to the switch and it doesn't matter which of the two terminals is connected to which wire (since you don't need to locate the common like on a standard 3-way switch).
Compatible
This switch works with the following Zooz models:
- ZEN71 On/Off Switch
- ZEN72 Dimmer
- ZEN75 Heavy Duty Switch
- ZEN32 Scene Controller
- ZEN35 Scene Dimmer.
Not Compatible
However it cannot be used with the following models in any capacity: ZEN73, ZEN74, ZEN76 or ZEN77.
Flexible Installation
Accepts both 14 AWG and 12 AWG wires. Works with loads up to 15 A.
Compact Design
The slim design allows the switch to easily fit shallow and crowded boxes.
Specifications
- Type: Momentary contact
- Power: 120 VAC, 60 Hz
- Maximum Load: 15A
- Operating Temperature: 32 - 104°F (0 - 40°C)

- When wiring your Zooz switch with this switch in a multi-way installation, you'll need to change the 3-Way Switch Type setting in the device settings/preferences/parameters to Momentary so the Zooz switch knows what kind of signal will be provided.
- If you are not comfortable identifying the wiring and following the instructions, please hire a licensed electrician.
