Zooz 800 Z-Wave Motion Dimmer
The Zooz Motion Dimmer combines a full-featured Z-Wave dimmer, built-in motion sensor, and ambient light (lux) sensor in a single wall switch. It responds automatically to motion and adjusts lighting based on occupancy and the ambient light level, making it perfect for bathrooms, hallways, closets, and garages.
Key Features
Built-in Motion Sensor
Detects movement up to 25 feet away, turning lights on when motion is detected and off after 30 seconds of inactivity. Motion sensitivity and the auto-off delay can both be customized to best fit your needs.
Lux Sensor
Continuously monitors ambient brightness. With a customizable lux threshold, lights only turn on when the room is actually dark.
Z-Wave Dimmer
Paired with the motion and lux sensors, you can create bright daytime lighting, gentle nighttime illumination, or automation rules tailored to best fit each room.
800 Series Z-Wave Chip
Supports Z-Wave Long Range for coverage up to 1,300 feet (500 feet standard), plus SmartStart and S2 security.
Dimmable Bulb Compatibility
Smooth dimming for dimmable LED fixtures up to 150 W total, and incandescent bulbs up to 500 W.
Direct 3-Way Solution
Connects to an existing light switch for 2-point control, no add-on switch required.
Scene Control
Multi-tap, hold, and release actions can trigger scenes directly from the switch.
Smart Bulb Mode
Keep power flowing to smart bulbs while still using motion and paddle input for automations.
